The Mt. Holly Springs VFW Post 7343 is a non-profit organization founded on June 3, 1946. To this day we make charitable donations to many organizations in the local community to include: the Boy and Girl Scouts of America, local food banks, numerous Veteran’s Charities, Kids Kountry, local parks, the Salvation Army, Mt Holly Springs Police / Fire, the USA Flags which line our streets and many others. Additionally, we host and prepare ceremonies such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and even sponsored a Car Show. We strive to support our community and host events that will bring us all together.

Boback Conducts Public Hearing on Restructuring of DMVA and Veterans Programs

TUNKHANNOCK – Rep. Karen Boback majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee conducted a public hearing on Tuesday morning highlighting the potential restructuring of the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) and certain programs that the department administers.

Coraopolis VFW To Host Honor Parade Sept. 11

In recognition to those who served or are serving in the military during the Afghanistan conflict, VFW Keith-Holmes Post 402 will be hosting an honor parade starting 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, that will run from Thorn Run to Broadway in Coraopolis. Immediately afterwards, a celebration slated to include live music and food trucks will take place near the post home on Mill Street.
